Our Mission
The mission of the SAVE-A-SOLE Foundation is simple but powerful: to save “soles” by putting shoes on feet.
We provide protective footwear to people in need throughout developing countries of the African Diaspora, helping protect individuals from injury, infection, disease, and the everyday hardships of living without adequate footwear.
Our Goal: Save 1 Million Soles
Our vision is ambitious: to provide 1 million pairs of shoes to people who need them most.
The footwear we distribute is selected to meet the realities of the communities we serve. Our goal is to provide shoes that are:

We prioritize some of the world’s most economically disadvantaged countries, beginning with nations with the lowest GDP and expanding our reach as our resources grow.
To help ensure donations reach the people they are intended to serve, we work with trusted, established in-country facilitators who understand their communities and oversee local distribution.
Special Projects
In addition to our core footwear mission, the SAVE-A-SOLE Foundation supports targeted humanitarian initiatives through two special projects.
The African Homeland Project
The African Homeland Project focuses on special humanitarian and community-based initiatives across the African continent.
Through strategic partnerships and locally driven efforts, we seek to address needs and create meaningful, sustainable impact in the communities we serve.
Care for Cabarete
The Care for Cabarete Project serves disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals and families along the north coast of the Dominican Republic .
Our initiatives focus on providing essential support in areas including food, education, vocational training, supplies, and medical care, with the goal of helping people meet immediate needs while creating opportunities for a healthier and more secure future.
